How to master disciplined follow-through.
This week’s blog is written by my guest speaker, Dr. Jason Hubler. Dr. Hubler will present his seminar, “The Mindset of Business” on March 21, 2019 at the Comfort Suites in Manheim, PA.
There are several key elements for creating a mindset for doing business. Setting goals with detailed steps on how to achieve those goals and implementing disciplined follow-through for achieving them (failure is not an option) are imperative in order to start. Next, it is necessary to create a system for making individual and company-wide decisions based on the mindset of doing business.
Taking action to implement these key elements into your day-to-day actions is the most important part for success. Having a "mindset for doing business" is one step, but without the action of disciplined follow-through, the business initiative will not be successful. Many people set goals, but do not follow through with achieving them. As Elbert Hubbard says: "a goal without a plan is just a dream."
Decision making based on these key elements is the natural path to successful leadership. Once you have mastered the action of disciplined follow-through in all aspects of your individual business activity, you can begin the process of making better business decisions and training others in your business to adopt and implement the elements of a successful mindset. As you put these practices into place, you will have the foundation for a system of success that will add great value and longevity to your business ventures.
