Should I Offer A 100% Satisfaction Guarantee?

Give your customers peace of mind with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

If you want to be taken seriously in business, I encourage you to offer your customers a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I know this will scare the daylights out of some people. They’ll think, “What if everybody comes in here and tries to rip me off? What if they all want their money back?”

Let me ease your mind. Offering your customers a 100% satisfaction guarantee will get you more customers because you’ve removed the fear of the unknown from their buying decision. You’ve given them peace of mind, which happens to be one of the only four benefits people buy.

Will you still run the risk that somebody may ask for their money back? Yes. Do you want to know how small the risk this is? 98% of all people are not trying to cheat you. Take care of the 100% and let God take care of the 2%.

What a 100% satisfaction guarantee gives people is the reassurance that you want their experience of buying from you to be as positive as they want it to be. I’ve been offering a 100% satisfaction guarantee since the first day I went into business 17 years ago. I don’t think I’ve given back money more than five times. More often, if somebody didn’t get what they wanted, I make arrangements to give them exactly what they want until they are completely satisfied. Not only do they continue to be my customers, they tell everybody they know about how I honor my word.

That’s the kind of reputation you want to have about your business. If you already stand behind your products and services, then you’re already giving your customers a guarantee. I’m just encouraging you to let them know about it in advance.
