3 Easy Ways to Make Customers Love You

Encourager-In-Chief: April 13th, 2016

Want to know how to make customers love you AND improve customer retention?

Just look around and you will see proof positive that customer service is in a very sad state. You can use this situation to improve your own status and that of your customers.

  1. Number one of the only four benefits people buy is when you save them time. With that in mind, I encourage you to make ordering from your business as simple and easy as possible. This might actually mean getting on the phone, speaking with your customer, and taking down their information. If that’s what it takes, so be it.It would be hard to beat Amazon.com when it comes to ease of ordering. They keep your credit card, and billing and shipping address on file so you can usually place an order without even reaching for your wallet. Use this model as much as you possibly can to make it easier for customers to order from you.
  2. You can also make it easier on customers when delivering your items. I like my customers to receive their products as quickly as possible. That may require me going to the post office the same day an order is placed, or providing downloadable versions of my products so they can get them as soon as they place an order. Whenever possible, I encourage you to make it simple for customers to get products from you. That might also include free deliveries, if appropriate.
  3. Finally, allow your customers to order by email if at all possible. I keep all of my clients’ credit card information and contact information securely on file. If people want to order a seminar after they receive an email from me, they just have to reply, “Sign me up,” and they have no paperwork to fill out. This is a very simple and effective way to get customers to make quick buying decisions from you.

When you demonstrate to your customers that you care about their time, they will show you their appreciation by coming back over and over again to buy from you instead of your competition.

Take care of your customers and they will take care of you.
